Supplements should never be a substitute for a balanced diet.  However, even if you put your best foot forward with regards to your eating habits, there are still a few nutritional elements that tend to run low in your system.

 

Supplements are not cheap and you may be taking more than you need.  Vitamin D and Omega fatty acids are supplements that most people should consider adding to their diet.

 

There are some that are helpful for certain situations like potassium, CoQ10, iron, probiotics and folic acid.  Listen to the podcast for details about when to take these supplements.
